I explore form interaction, movement, and renewed expression through layering two letters in a three-dimensional space. The two letters mimic humans in their top-heavy and horizontal forms and represent two iterations of the same letter.
I made a jig to hold wet, flexible wood until it dried and created curved wooden pieces. I considered negative space, pushing boundaries of materials, and humanizing static symbols in this work.
