A clay model is scaled up and replicated into a plaster form to represent a verb, “crop”. I explore spatial possibilities of organic, flowing forms to contrast and highlight the structured “crop” cut out.

I use a variety of chisels, mallets, and sandpaper with techniques of plaster mixing and subtractive sculpture.
